Idaho, also called the “Gem State,” is the seventh least densely populated state in the United States but has over 700 active and licensed property appraisers. Idaho’s Real Estate Appraiser Board does not require appraisers to carry Idaho Appraisers Errors and Omissions Insurance, but many appraisers carry insurance for business purposes, such as to protect their assets or meet client requirements.

What to Expect After Submission:
A confirmation will be emailed within 24 hours if your application is received and correct. If not correct, you will be called immediately. If you do not receive confirmation after 24 hours, please call us (check email junk/spam first). If your current policy is expiring, please call to confirm immediately after submission. Your new
Idaho Appraisers Errors and Omissions insurance policy/declarations page will be emailed within 1-2 business days after payment has been processed. Coverage is NOT bound until a binder/declarations page is issued.

Idaho Continuing Education

Idaho Appraisers are required to complete 30 hours of Continuing Education courses every 2 years. The 7-Hour USPAP Update is required as part of those hours. Idaho has no limit on how many hours of continuing education may be completed online.
