New Jersey, officially called the “Garden State,” is the most densely populated state in the country and has over 2,700 licensed and active real estate appraisers working in the state. New Jersey’s State Real Estate Appraisers Board is under the supervision of the Division of Consumer Affairs and is directed by Charles Kirk.

New Jersey Appraisers Errors and Omissions insurance policy/declarations page will be emailed within 1-2 business days after payment has been processed. Coverage is NOT bound until a binder/declarations page is issued.

New Jersey Continuing Education

Appraisers in New Jersey are required to complete 28 hours of Continuing Education for renewal. Requirements are due by 12/31 of the renewing year and must include the 7-Hour USPAP Update course.
