New Mexico, sometimes called the âLand of Enchantment,â is the fifth largest state in the continental United States and is the sixth least densely populated. New Mexico has only 600 licensed real estate appraisers, which are licensed by the Real Estate Appraisers Board located New Mexicoâs capital city, Santa Fe. Appraiser license levels in New Mexico are almost evenly split between Certified Residential and Certified Generals.
