If you do NOT have coverage in place, please use this Florida self-rating application (Select lower priced GROUP 1 Premiums) and send in with payment for the lowest premium and same day coverage.

If you HAVE current coverage in place:

  • If your retroactive date is 8/1/2008 or later/after, please use this Florida self-rating application. Select your premium from the lower priced GROUP 1 table and send in with payment for same day coverage.
  • If your retroactive date is 7/31/2008 or earlier/before please use this Florida application (select your premium and send in with payment for same day coverage).
  • If you need group coverage or you’ve had a claim please use this group application to obtain a quote; quotes take 2-5 business days.

Important: If you have expiring insurance in place, please include a copy of your current Declarations page to retain prior acts coverage. Also, if you included a PO Box for your address on the application, you will need to list a physical address as well (required by the underwriter.) A confirmation will be emailed within 24 hours if your application is received and correct. If not correct, you will be called immediately. If you do not receive confirmation after 24 hours, please call us (check email junk/spam first). If your current policy is expiring, please call to confirm immediately after sending. Your new Florida Appraisers Errors and Omissions insurance policy/declarations page will be emailed within 3-5 business days after payment has been processed. Coverage is NOT bound until a binder/declarations page is issued.

Florida Continuing Education

The state of Florida requires appraisers to take 30 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. The CE requirements are due on 11/30. Florida has no limit on how many of these hours can be completed online, but 10 of the hours must be dedicated to Mandatory training. Mandatory training includes the 7-Hour USPAP Update course and a 3 hour review of Florida Real Estate Appraisal Law and Board Rules.
